Between us girls.

It's been a long since i didn't feel so excited about a band, until i met this NY quartet (musically and personally), The Drowners, thereafter, I never missed a show of them.

Drowners play what they've called "friendly post-punk" I think musically they rescue New York real rock genre, adding a touch of Brit pop, with obvious influences from Matt Hitt, reminiscent of bands like The Smiths is not quite an innovative sound, but they do it just fine.
Currently they are signed with French Kiss Records, and this year they just released their very first album called the same way the band. By the way, the name "Drowners" was chosen for the Suede song.
Definitely a band you should know.

"I hate the thought of you
missing out."
